FarmersMarket.Store is a family affair. Jamie and Courtney spent a lifetime of business-building, failures, pivots, and hard-won victories to arrive here.
2016 · Loma, CO
The Leap
In 2016 they bought a 20-acre farm in Loma and went all-in on agriculture, entering the booming CBD hemp space.
2020
The Fall
The CBD bubble collapsed. COVID hit. They lost the market and had to start over. But every hard season taught the same lesson — stop waiting, start building.
Palisade, CO
The Forge
Jamie became Farm Manager at Blaine's Farm Store, seeing firsthand the need for a better local food system. Courtney built farm infrastructure. They saw the same friction every week: farmers working hard, families wanting local food, and the path between them far too complicated.
